Sticky Note:  Jesus says, "You are loved; you are safe."

"Perfect love casts out fear."  I Jn 4:18

The marriage covenant says:
"You are loved:  I'm exclusively yours"
"You are loved:  I'm binding my whole self to you"
"You are safe:  You have nothing to fear"

The love of our Bridegroom, Jesus, is the only love this perfect.  But when we believe that we are loved and safe in Jesus (this is an ongoing miracle), He keeps freeing us to give love and security to other people around us, especially our spouses.

Questions to ask your spouse: (...as you believe that you are perfectly loved and safe in Jesus)
1--Do you feel like you are my #1 priority?
2--Do you feel like I'm holding something back from you?
3--In what ways do I make you feel unsafe or insecure?
