Sticky Note:  Love Flows Downhill

Love is not just touchy-feely or warm and fuzzy.  It is costly.

We are called to love with this "1 Corinthians 13 love," but how?  We will love like this, to the extent we really believe we are loved like this by God through Jesus.  He is love, and the signature of his love to us is the Cross.  

Love flows downhill.  As we are convinced we are loved by God, something happens in our hearts that frees us to love...to love God, our families, our friends, and even our enemies.  Being "told" we ought to love can never produce this heart-change.
