Mark 5 25-34 What Saving Faith Looks Like

  • Speaker: Mark Brown
  • Date: Sunday, November 13, 2011
  • Series: Gospel of Mark

Sticky Note:  Jesus is the object of our faith
-its the strength of the OBJECT, not the strength of our Faith that really matters

Characteristics of people with saving faith:
-they come to Jesus with a purity problem
-they come to Jesus out of options
-they come to Jesus with flawed faith
-they are sent by Jesus as hesitant heralds

Jesus took the bloody punishment for us, he bled and became unclean for us, and he touched God with our sin on him.  Because of Jesus, all with saving faith are clean and healed, free from condemnation, and free to come near and touch God.
