Sticky Note:  God Comes Down

Security, salvation, and identity cannot be built with our hands.  They are all found in Jesus, and Him alone, and are all gifts of grace.

God has come down in the person of Jesus of Nazareth, perfectly obeying the law of God, dying the death we deserved to die.

God has come down in the person of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost, reversing the curse of Babel, creating one new language of the gospel.

God is coming again, when Jesus returns visibly to the earth to inaugurate the new heavens and new earth.
