Sticky Note:  God forms, fills, and gives light

God takes delight in giving shape to the formless, filling the empty, and bringing light to the darkness.  He did it in Creation, He did it in the New Creation of Salvation through Jesus, and He does it through the Church by the Holy Spirit, as we form, fill, and give light in our "worlds."

The things we lean on besides God to form, fill, and give light, only end up in more chaos, emptiness, and darkness.  They are idols, and they can't deliver on what they promise.

Jesus comes to earth as a person to bear our chaos, emptiness, and darkness on the Cross.  Now when we pray for order, fullness, and light in our lives or communities, we are really asking for more of Jesus, because He is all of these things.
